lower 1st molar with 2 broken files

A Case referred to me lower 1st molar with 2 broken files

4 mm.....20/4.......at apical third.... MB canal

2 mm.....25/6.......at middle third... ML canal

Both canal are mildly curved.... both broken file is beyond the curve

I looked to pre-op shifted xray and realised that the MB and ML canals are confluenced( vertucci type II)

I tried to bypass the most apical file in MB canal and it was very easy for some reason

As the 2 canals were joining by 1 apex ... I shaped and cleaned the MB canal to full wl

Then i only shaped and cleaned the ML canal to the level of broken file.....

Saving time and effort with good outcome
