Complications of root canal treatment include:
1. Postoperative pain and swelling: The relative incidence is higher, 25-40%. However, it is generally not serious, tolerable, and will get better after a week;
2. The device penetrates the apical hole and damages the periapical tissue;
3. The instrument is broken in the root canal;
4. Tooth fracture: crown fracture, root fracture, crown and root fracture;
5. Numbness of the lower lip;
6. Subcutaneous emphysema.
